Anyone know/heard anything about this? Just got Screwfix brochure through with advert for this inside front cover. Its not clear whether it is a GO-kart or soapbox they mean, image shows something more like a soapbox. Final is in Perth, Scotland in October with heats throughout Britain. I have registered so will see what arrives in post. See www.screwfix.com/rally for some basic info.

Fascinating. Completely new to me. I notice there is no heat in Scotland.

It will be interesting to see where the venue is for the Perth final. Can we get it for the future?

ooh good point. They say it's held "during the international rally challenge" in Perth & Kinross, whatever that means. Knockhill maybe?

Ceremonial start & special stage is at Scone palace, so maybe there. Dont know if any hills there, maybe Stephen can check with his google gadget?

There might be a few gentle inclines there, but nothing really jumps out at first glance.

Nope nothing yet, though when application went in it said to expect info pack within 7-14days (8 days gone so far). All seems a bit sketchy and if you search for it on Google all you get is links to this forum. C'mon screwfix.

I could not get the website to tell me that I had successfully requested a pack. Tried to email the address given it bounced straight back undeliverable.

Hmmm, I may have problems as I am running 349 wheels and it is hard to get knobbly tyres for 349's.

The Screwfix events are due to be held at mountain boarding centres in the regions indicated. Details awaited.
UKGSA have been in contact with the Screwfix Event Manager to ask that they check the existing event calendar before finalising plans.
