Greetings chaps, Im back! Nice work on the web-site Mr King and other parties! Ive paid up membership and race fees for the 'downhill dragon' (great name whoever thought of that) Membership is expensive but if you pay full whack entry fee at Traws and become a member at the next event then you get the event discount from Traws back! Thats right aint it Ian R?

Ooooh Traws! Well, um, have fun - just be careful though: 1. Bale that ditch. 2. Bale that bridge. 3. Clear a spot for the chopper to land. 4. Know your blood type. 5. If anybody reaches that cattle grid, than they probably didn't deserve to live anyway... Remember, mobiles don't work in the valley, and the food in Bangor hospital sucks. Lastly, if anybody has a spare moment, could they please scrape the remains of my D.N.A. off the bridge parapet (Just trying to cover my tracks nowadays... ). Have fun! Ride hard, stay safe.

Greetings chaps, Im back! Nice work on the web-site Mr King and other parties! Ive paid up membership and race fees for the 'downhill dragon' (great name whoever thought of that) Cheers mate. The name was my idea, as was the flag design, which my brother did in photoshop. Depends on your point of view. It certainly costs more this year, but you save more on entry fees as well, plus the other benefits. Thats right, so if you feel you can't afford the whole lot at the moment, but plan to come to future events, there is no excuse! Sign up NOW!!! I'll be looking into booking a 6 berth cabin soon. I'll let you all know when I have and then I'll take bids as to who is staying in there. Works out at summit like £30 per head for 2 nights.

RIGHT, I'VE BOOKED ONE:
I asked for one of their largest, which sleeps eight. (There is one that sleeps 22, but I thought that too much of a risk!) It's cabin #342. It has 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with two bunk beds each. There's a double sofa bed in the lounge. It's fully self-catering with a proper kitchen and bathroom, storage heating and back-up heating. There's a shop and a pub on-site.
Pencil in one bed for Andy Dirtsurfer, the rest of you can pile in to the remaining six on a first come, first served basis by responding to this thread. Based on eight of us it will cost a mere £27.50 for the entire time we're there. Wicked.
I'm not bringing Olena to this one, so I guess the double bed will go to Len and Tristan, or maybe Tristan and Ben if Tristan drinks enough, or any other couples.
UKGSA COMMITTEE: The bloke I just spoke to says they have Lugers there quite regularly, a group of lads from the Wirrall and Merseyside. Do you know who they are? If not, he said if we ask at the main desk he'll give us their contact details so we can try and bring them into the UKGSA fold.

Jason : The lugers from the Wirral / Merseyside would be Chris Beard & Co, who as far as I know haven't ridden downhill since 2002/2003, when they all retired from the sport and disappeared up their own a*ses in a self-propogated tantrum of epic proportions (Tried to drag the rest of us in as well, but we all escaped and founded the UKGSA instead Not much goes on out at Traws, so the guy with the hut probably thinks "regularly" means over two years ago. Didn't Beard's dad own one of the huts there anyway? (Anyone?). By the way Jason, If you are not taking Olena to Wales with you, does she want to come round to mine for the weekend? I'm not allowed out, but I bet she's great at Twister... Joel : Nice job on the site mate, hope we'll see the rest of the old content back eventually. By the way, I was meaning to ask - Can you set up a reciprocal link to the UKGSA off the Ssssssssprint site? We've been carrying theirs for ages, but there is never any mention of us on the Sssprint page? Ride hard, stay safe.

Yo Tom,
Bloody good to see that you're reading and posting on here again. I put your request to Olena and she replied "Only if he buys me lots of sweets." I think she means as in the context of "Hallo little girl, would you like a sweetie? Come home and see my puppies!" kind of thing.
So how long do you have to wear your new gadget for?
Cheers,
Jason.

BOS Yo the BOS - I just had a thought - if you offer to sleep with Tristan in the double bed in the cabin I've booked, he might pay for your accommodation for the priviledge! He has in the past admitted on more than one occasion to finding you rather attractive... Then you won't be freezing your nuts off in a tent!

CAMPING? I'm fairly sure that quite a few wimps out there will be missing out on the joys of tenting, but for those of you with the necessary bottle, then put:- www.snowdonia-wales.net/acc/camp/caegwyn/default.asp into your web-browser, and book yourself a place! But for gawds sake don't make too much noise, and DON'T (knowingly or unknowingly) knock any walls down!! (We still have major problems at Dalby after that last incident!)
