Hi, got a question about the front fairing. Based on the IGSA 2011 rules from the BIGBA site dl.dropbox.com/u/18967053/IGSA%202011%20merge.pdf, as the 2012 rules onwards have dropped gravity bike. Front: A small fairing of any size or shape that can be designed to fit inside a box with the dimensions twenty-five centimeters (25cm / 10”) by thirty-one centimeters (31cm / 12.2”) is allowed. But that is only 2 dimensions and the fairing needs 3. The accompanying drawing shows the bike from the side with a relatively large curved fairing, is that just artistic error? Should it be Front: A small fairing of any size or shape that can be designed to fit inside a box with the dimensions twenty-five centimeters (25cm / 10”) by thirty-one centimeters (31cm / 12.2”) when viewed from the front of the bike is allowed. A: Dimensions viewed from the side are unlimited or B: Dimensions viewed from the side should not exceed XXcmOther than saying the fairing may only extend up to 127mm in front of the front edge of the tyre there appears to be no guidance about the maximum size of the fairing when viewed from the side. What do people use? I don't want to exceed the limits of what will be accepted as stock. Similarly the rear fairing is described with a maximum length and a width but no height. cheers jays

It's a bit unclear. I go no longer than 310mm no wider than 250mm (or swap these round) and forget the depth. Different race organisers have different requirements too.
