The Drumlanrig Gravity Grand Prix is an "all disciplines" gravity race in the delightful grounds of Drumlanrig Castle, near Dumfries. The course is approximately 1Km in length and has a a good mix of sharp and gentle turns. Typical top speeds will be around 45mph (see the speed profile for details). This is part of a much larger event - the Scottish AutoFest - which is being run on a not for profit basis to raise money for charity. In addition to the gravity racing there will be a range of attractions that will delight all the family and provide something to interest visitors of all ages; • Vintage & Classic car and motorcycle concours d' elegance • Classic trucks , Buses , fire engines and • Car club displays • Vintage tractors and agricultural equipment • Modern Truck Show • Historic Military Vehicle Camp • A Radio Controlled Wings n' Wheels Show • Off Road 4 x 4 area • New car displays • Autojumble & classic cars for sale • Kids Zone entertainment and more • Shopping Village • Lite Bites • Antiques and Collectables Bazaar There will be free on-site camping for competitors.
