Unless the angle grinder is fired up to hack off 200mm from the tail and the welder dragged from retirement to alter the seat angle my cart won't meet the specification. ;D Good luck to the organizers I hope they get decent weather.

my cart won't meet the specification I wouldn't worry too much about that if I were you. I know the scrutineers very well, and in fact will almost certainly be buying a beer for one of them later this evening. I don't anticipate there being any problem with you racing if you want to.

The rules have been revised for cartie dimentions. 2500mm long 1500mm wide.
Pull you cartie out the field Charlie and gett fettlin.

Just spoke to the organisers. As well as changing the dimensions to 2500 x 1500mm, they're also happy to accept sidehacks built to SCA rules too. No silverware for sidehacks though - it's just a fun run.
They have about 30 entries already - mostly from local groups and businesses.
