We've started building our new sidehack and Ive been blogging about it as we progress. The floor pan frame is complete apart from a little tidying up. Next step is to complete and attach the sub frame for the front wheel and seat. Read all about it at greasedweasel.blogspot.com

Looking good so far ;D I think you must have hacked my computer and looked at the Monkey Business CAD drawings before cutting your steel. We are at a very similar stage with our 2012 build and have a few surprises to incorporate that were not on the earliest drawings Can't wait to get testing, but the reality is that we will probably be applying the last coat of paint on the eve of Border Bogies Should make for great racing in 2012. If only we could get a few more teams to see the light

It all looks fairly considered to me, certainly compared with our 2010/11 outfit, which was knocked up from scavenged materials in a single afternoon after a session in the Blue Bell. I like the blog and will try to do one myself. If successful I'll post the address here somewhere. We are planning (probably in vain) to make our new outfit a lot better to look at than the old machine in the hope that more people will think it's a good idea to have a go at sidehacking. I doubt it'll be any faster

Gradually getting the new outfit together. We now have a rolling chassis with quality wheels, tidy steering and three monster brakes (to cope with the massive speeds we'll have to haul it down from at Dalby). Fitting the floor on Saturday and planning a test run down Belchford Hill, or something a bit more serious if it's not raining too hard. Just the pretty bits to work on then. The main problem is working out how to give the driver a view of the road ahead, so really there's nothing to worry about . Should be good for maximum excitement at Border Bogies ;D
