We old guys in the states are forming a International organization and will be establishing International rules. We will follow the IGSA racing circuit internationally and here in the states. We will also establish a rules committee of racers from around the world. This new organization will launch the Gravity Bikes to the media (magazines & T.V.) to help re-spark the interest in our sport. We are also working out the details on securing great pricing on custom frame sets, fairings and tail pieces that will be made available to everyone. For those who don't know who I am, well here it gos -
My name is Dwight Garland but people call me Snarlin. I started racing BMX in the mid 70's and started racing Gravity Bikes with the GPVA in the mid 80's, set the current Guinness world record on a Gravity bike in 2000, 3 time Gravity bike world champion from 1999 to 2001. I was partially responsible for the rebirth of Gravity bikes in the late 90's and got us in the X-Games in 2000. Below are some of the names of people here in the States that will be involved.
Myself - Current world record holder Tommy Brackens - BMX Hall of Fame / X-games gold Dan Hanebrink - Hanebrink Designs Earle Ross - Squirrel Racing Steve Blackey - The Bike Source gOrk - ABA / Redline Bikes Gordon Saunders - SBS Fairing builder BMX Plus magizine Fuel TV IGSA
