Hi woody, yay, someone in a wales area to foist an event upon? Little do you know what a can of worms you may have opened. lol. For many long years we have lain in wait for an innocent to sacrifice upon the great table of bronaber (historically known as Traws, to the believers ). There may well be a local event, but the nearest that i know of in recent history was a short event in Prestatyn back in 2005, i think it was..... No, the reason for my frivolity is that we (ukgsa) used to race at Bronaber, nr Trawsfynnd. But we used to haul the neccessary straw bales from Scammonden in yorkshire due to having no local contacts to organise such things in the vacinity . I think i can say with confidence that any event orgaised on this particular hill will recieve a lot of attention & support ! Let us know if you'd be interested, I'll give you all the support I can (from lincolnshire) ps. coming to cadwell?

Hi Ian, I presume you mean this road. Looks fun - 1.1 km at an average of about 1:14, if my map reading skills are up to scratch. It is a long way to travel, though...

We will see how it goes , i have mentioned it to a couple of guys locally and they seem interested . North Wales is not too far for a lot of people , Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham all two hours or under traveling and i see some people on here talking about going to the continent I will try and make it to Cadwell and have a chat about what is involved I just found out the lad next door has built a gravity bike so there is interest in gravity sports .
