Chaps,
Don't know how many of you frequent the UK portion of NCDSA, so i'll punt up here......
Firstly i'm not a vendor, salesman etc, just a slalom racer.
anyways...in our never ending Quest for Speed, and a slalomers habit for tinkering with bits...i have managed to find a machinist to manufacture precision bearing spacers at 0.400" from unsquashable carbon steel.
these will fit nicely over 8mm axles and keep your bearings a precise distance apart, so you will be able to tighten down with confidence and know they will stay the right distance apart, and not bind your bearings
anyway, this precision comes at a cost, and currently they are £2 per spacer, so it would be £8 for a set of 4, £12 for 6 etc...
if you interested drop me an e-mail, as i'm trying to gauge interest before i commit to an order.
If i get enough interest, i may well get some machined for odd dimensions like for Krypto races cores (0.300") and i'm sure there are some wheels that take an 11mm spacer, although these will be a little more expensive as they will be shorter runs
cheers
Paul K CCR
