I went to see Mr Cool last Saturday and am now the proud owner of his Chalky luge.
I set up my trucks on it and have found that the support bar for the truck channel (the one that goes across the luge) is very close to the wheels. I've got about an inch travel. May i pick your brain about how you have yours set up? I will quite understand if the info is secret but i will be having a sly peek at future events anyway ;D

Hia Longy
I'll tell ya, but I'm gonna come kill you.
Yes, the bar is close, but I've never had a problem with it rubbing, nor has Mr Cool or any of the others so far as I know.
I run with Randal Luge trucks and 2.5mm(ish) risers on the front, whells are 83mm flys. What trucks do you have? Obviously the kingpin angle will affect how close to the board the wheels will come. I think most people have used 180s on their Chalky luges, with a few risers, no probs in that department.
If you find that you are getting wheel bite then try putting some more spacers in or wedging the trucks.
I did find that the pan scraped along at the rear because it wasn't made very well (by someone Chalky knew, not the man himself). To stop this happening I had to put hed loads of spacers on the back, about 3" I think.
Let us know how it goes.

I took it out last night fully set up and did get wheel lock up at one point. I dont think its a wheelbite on the underside of the luge but on the bar itself. Im thinking its the trucks set too loose so im gonna redrill the truck holes so that the wheels are set a little more forward and tighten up a bit. The trucks are the 300mm Lendals with DH plates and 83mm Flys. I think its just a case of having a tinker with it for a while and trying different things. I'll take it to Gurston Sunday and see how it goes.
