Prob somwhere between the 12-15kg mark.
However if you take it on as sports equipment (a bike for example) then it is usually only a £15 set excess.
When traveling to Chamrousse I took my luge in a bike box, perfect size for the luge and a few other bits and made it look like I was actually taking a bike. Even managed to get the kind people at the Oversized Baggage check-in to show me the x-ray on the screen. No metal fatigue that I could see, lol.

Anyone know what a Len luge with three trucks weighs, for working out airline baggage? Yep. 13kg. Weighed it for the very same reason. Top tip: Got any bathroom scales? For working out the weight of gravity vehicles for international flights, simply weigh yourself on ordinary bathroom scales. Then stand on the scales holding your luge, subtract one weight from the other and hey presto! The weight of your luge. If you go for the Easyjet-style "Sporting equipment for a tenner each way" option, your sporting equipment is allowed to be up to 32kg. So, 20kg max for your clothes luggage and 32kg max for your "sporting equipment".

Check in wearing your leathers. ;D
Helmet cant be carried as hand luggage though.....well actually your not 'meant' to, according to Virgin. However as I coulndt fit it back into my bag and I pulled the "but I'm an international racer" line they let me on with it.
I once flew back from Europe with NO luggage whatsover. Nothing.
The customs still wanted to search me.....I could feel the Marigolds coming out of their cupboard. Luckily I explained I had two flats. One in England, one in Holland, so why would I need bags?

Luke should be taking mine to gurston, it only weighs in at 9kg and its up for auction with the money going to cancer research. It also breaks down into 3 pieces which makes the overall transporting length just over a metre. Travel with everything in a surf bag (luge, leathers, gloves, boots, boards) and book it as sports allowence, nobody bothers you with a surf bag. It only cost me £27 to get everything to israel and back, the lid I just walked on the plane with
