wel i found out that the trucks have to be from 1976, somewhere around, probably 1975 they say, and the wheels, probably some of the first PU wheels ever made, so thay can't be older then 1974 and already got some ideas for the board i'm going to munt them on

Hi all,
I also got a set or 2 of the old stuff...I still have a some aluminum oldskool skateboards, made by GrenTec (GT), lingering in the cellar... Those have 4 hole baseplates though...and real bearings in the wheels instead of loose/open bearings... With some luck I might find a good size of ball to fit into these old PU wheels... I'll keep you up to date Dready!

hi ive, got some first hand info that says they date from 1976, rico, the guy that took pictures of us on our roadtrip last summer seems to know quite something about it. but also, grentec was one of the more available brands, so not the high tech pricy thing at the time, now probably.... maybe i should pass again and look him nice into the eyes, cause i do start to have serious doubts about riding these babies, but if i have 2 sets i can skate one set with a clear consience
