Here's a new one for you. Up Trucks. They Don't use a Kingpin or any other parts. They are one-piece and pivot using its moulded elastomer mounting. They do several different versions, including a longboard one. Personally I dont like the way you can't adjust the stiffness, so you will need different trucks for different hills. Also, when a bit on the truck wares out or is damaged you have to replace the whole thing. www.uptrucks.com.br/Joel

Yup i have a set, bit of an unusual design. These are less for full on downhill, more carving cruising and street/park riding, no kingpin= no hangup oon ramps! Light and very hard wearing too. Have a look at the original trucks for carving madness or strokers for where things like this came from.

I have a set of the 8" Originals, and they a very very turny. feel very precise - no mushiness at all. not had them up to high speeds, but I love them. On my 60" board they will carve 180 across one lane!
good fun indeed, and if anyone wants to try them I'll bring em to the next race I do (possibly Bude, but not sure yet)

Yummmmmmm.....
Personally I just love the look of the Stroker, and it gives me a great idea for a gravity racer.....
