Looks like Redbull are putting on a race again this July soapbox.redbull.co.uk/home Wish I had a cart to race although it sounds like it'll be more a question of style over substance. Matt

Hi bod, There are loads of other races across the country if you don't get selected for Red Bull London 2013 or if you're looking for something more race focussed. There is a calendar of confirmed soapbox races for 2013 at gravityracing.org.uk/event - current 18 races listed, from Aberdeenshire to Devon and Scarborough to the West Coast of Ireland with more being added all the time.

redbull have blundered in without talking to anyone in the sport, they have clashed with our event at Richards castle .However we are not really too worried, thay have limited entries and if other events they have staged are anything to go by, anyone entering is lining themselves up for a long day of photo shoots and staged events to promote a product, nothing to do with a good days racing/day out.

Red Bull is not the only clash with Richards Castle. The Worlaby Downhill is the same day as well, which is a great shame as I know a lot of teams would like to do both races. There is a full calendar of events for 2013 at scottishcarties.org.uk/event - currently over 20 races covering the uk from Devon to Scotland
