Hello there from your spanish friends! I'd like to show you a short video from a Spanish race that shows how a Sejkora C4 european soapbox with its little 8" wheels with 16" tires ina difficult rally style track: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rfEMWWmbee8&feature=plcp ( It's the village of Dani Sordo, the WRC driver and it's part of a real rally track ). I guess that this configuration can handle those lateral accelerations and bumps better than the 20" wheels and it could be a very competitive option for UK races. See you... Hi Calixto,
Great video, fantastic track…....For us to try that wheel/tyre/hub/disc combination would cost about 800 Euro (£650ish) + brake calipers + postage…..
I suspect we only currently have a one or two events where that combination might be the fastest option! So you’ll have to come over to the UK and show us! I suggest Richards Castle…http://www.richardscastlesoapbox.co.uk/ Short track, but technical, plenty of runs and a great fun atmosphere. I’m sure you’d be made very welcome (and do very well).
Congratulations on your Spanish Championship!
Cheers Rich
