For all, the official word from the program makers, Triple Echo, is it will be shown on the following: In Scotland - BBC 2 Scotland, South of the border: Sky 990; Freesat 970; Virgin (don't know which channel, sorry) and i-player.

Yip it was a close call having tried to get round the switch without breaking. ;D With only one time trial you don't have much option but to go for it. Get it right and your laughing, get it wrong and you drop right down the board.

The important thing to remember about practice and qualifying is that you can't win the race, but you can lose it.

That's very true C.C. but getting a good time is important because it determines who you run against in the heats. Also you don't learn a lot in practice if you don't find out how far you dare push it when you have the track all to yourself.

I'm not so sure it's that big a deal. In 2010 TDR stacked their cartie on the first day and didn't get a seeding time. They started unseeded and came second. It helps if you're in the top 16, but you can still win even if you qualify last.
