Can anyone out there answer these questions?
There seems to be a lot of talk recently about other venues maybe modifiying existing carties to race at Spain etc but what about things closer to home.
What is happening about the new spec for the Cairngorm 2012?
Has there been a Cairngorm committee meeting etc regarding the changes as there was a big hipe over the whole thing now it's all gone quiet.
What is the overall typical cartie?.

In short I don't know but I know a man who does. ;D
I think you probably mean the Scottish Cartie Association Committee rather than the Cairngorm Committee as regards any new specifications that might be considered for Cairngorm 2012. Stephen Hall is the person to answer any questions in that regard. As to a typical cartie I would suspect it would be one that fits roughly into the SCA build criteria as most organisers seem to run more or less along those lines.

The technical specification for Cairngorm Soapbox Extreme are currently under review. The revised rules will be published in mid to late October.
