Maybe, just maybe, we've pushed this "let's have a wet race" a bit too far! Wet's an understatement and forcast is for a very wet night and wet until lunchtime tomorrow, bring your scuba gear!

The ScrewFix Final. A wet start to the day, but it stopped falling from the sky before the event started. a good turn out for carties.
The compatition was fears at the front betweed Stephen Hall and Steve Thomas the lead past to and frow by hundredths of a sevond
The results 1st Steve Thomas C12 2nd Stephen Hall SCA Bandit. 3rd Iain Rooney (me ;D) C12
I must thank Steve for the last min opportunity to drive C12 in its second qualification spot.

Went as a spectator with ROO4, but I was soon helping out as a pusher (of carties not illegal substances). Competition could not have been closer, with the number one spot not being decided, until the final run when Steve Thoamas did it again and pulled a blinding run out of the bag! Commiserations to Stephen Hall though, did nothing wrong all day and led for three of the 5 runs, it was that close. Just wanted to post on this thread my thanks to the Scewfix Team for organising this years event. I had a great day out... if you wanted mud,this was the place to be. We done to Steve for a fantastic final run to snatch victory. And of course thanks to all the pushers ,both up and down the hill. Good to see you all ,hope we can do it again next year. Ps loved the midge cam
