Team Weasel are going to be concentrating mostly on sidehack this year. We'll run a cartie or two at Catterline and Cairngorm, but all the serious stuff will be done two-up.
Who else is going sidehack this year?

cc - are you gonna be racing at CSE2011 and get someone else to be chief marshall? Especially since the the sidcar trophy will be up for grabs now that the Cheats have reverted to cartie.

I'm not racing at CSEx unless someone else stands up to run the show - any volunteers?
Most likely I'll be flying around on my mo'bike again and shouting at people, same as usual. I'll get someone else to pilot the sidehack.
It needs to be my last year though. I'd quite like to race at CSEx2012, so I'd be keen to hear from anyone who'd be interested in getting involved.

Just me then? Woohoo! I'll get my name engraved on the trophy when I order it

Who's racing sidecar this year (2012) . Can we expect a bit more competition - if so we had better get on with implementing all our new design ideas. The new wheels for Monkey Business' 2012 machine are being made at the moment and should be finished by Target Wheels in the next couple of days, so we'll be good to go with the welder by the end of the month

Where are all you avid side-hackers? Are you all still hibernating? Who's racing this year and where are you going?
Monkey Business have entered Catterline and Dalby and we hope to get to Border Bogies. May also run at Richards Castle if they'll have us and/or CSEx if Dick can be persuaded to go that far.
New wheels and brakes for this year and a few tweaks to try to get a bit more speed, but all a bit sad if there's nobody to race against - I really don't want to have to build a new soapbox just to get a bit of banter going.

I just got back from the steel merchant with £50 worth of box section that will form the chassis of our sidehack this year. It'll get its first outing at Scammonden, if that's still actually going to happen. Failing that, we'll be racing at Border Bogies, Catterline, Cairngorm and Belchford. We'll not be at Dalby though, so the rest of you can have a chance of winning something.

[We'll not be at Dalby though, so the rest of you can have a chance of winning something] That's very sporting of you. Looking forward to seeing your new machine (and beating it fair and square). We still need to pick up all the titanium for our chassis, but the rest of the machine is as good as finished. With a bit of luck we'll be ready to test on the Friday night before Border Bogies and get the machine painted before Dalby ;D

Titanium, eh? Going for a lightweight chassis then. That's brave.

Ah well, as my late father was fond of saying "A faint heart never f****ed a fair maid!"
