Hello all,
I have locked the topic about Gurston. I'm fed up with the constant Bullshit and extremely concerned about the threats that seem to have appeared.
Stop the insults. STOP the threats.
Anyone threatening others with violence (in jest or not) WILL be Blocked from the board
I don't mind debate but there’s no need for the insults
This message board is supposed (as is the UKGSA) to bring gravity sports enthusiasts together.
Please can WE ALL cool it down. Remember its hard to hear tone of voice in text.
Many thanks,
Graham

Thank Gawd!! Was anything CONSTRUCTIVE or INFORMATIVE in that "post"? (or did I miss it?) A suggestion to the moderator; For the good of the UKGSA, delete that thread, don't just lock it! Very ugly! (and, potentially, damaging to UK gravity sports?) See! ...I'm getting the message UKGSA!

The "Constuctive" or "informative" bit I was trying to get across to some of the people throwing the insults about, was that they do need to understand that other people read this site as well as the people involved in which ever slanging match was current at the time. It's simple, and I apologize if this comes across in a negative fashion, but it's human nature to get upset when someone/something insults your friends. Whilst we should all have the maturity to shut up and hold our tongues on the message board, it still won't stop peoples impression of the antagonists when they do actually turn up to race. Thats not a threat in any way, but a reality! Also, as Desmond noted, we want to encourage new riders. New riders need to learn from our experience and i'd hate to think they were getting the wrong impression ( it's ok to slag off the organizers and established riders..), and maybe they won't view the information they do get given in the same way, with the same value? Lets hope the insults TEXT stop so we can get on with the reason why we're all talking in the first place! see, I'm looking forward to meeting new friends and putting names to faces this year already!
