Hi all,
Here's the finalised details for Sunday...
Sunday January 22nd From 8pm at The India Arms Great Southsea Street Portsmouth
A rough running list as follows;-
Starting at 8pm with...
The Hill 3-5 - Short films from last year's sessions at Gurston.
Cliff Coleman and Sergio's Yuppie's Faltown Slide- Cliff, Sergio and the Faltown crew teach the newbies and demonstrate their sliding skills. Never before has so much urethane been left on a uk hill!
Southsea Skatepark Old School Reunion - Skaters from all over converge on the classic 70's park and give the concrete and vert ramp a good working over. Features some faces you might remebemer from RAD magazing back in the day...
Wight Air 2005 - Preview of the latest UKGSA chicane blast held at Ventnor IOW. A short, devilishy tricky hill with tight racing and tons of spills. (Just to let you know no riders were seriously hurt making this film...)
Bukolic 2005 - Film from the magnificent Swiss freeride. Fine scenery, great weather, cute alpine cows and some very fast European skaters.
Lush Longboards Preview - A ten minute taster of the forthcoming Lush Longboards DVD. Expect much stylin' and slidin' as the Lush boys rip it up.
Chamrousse - Film from the 2005 Downhill Jamboree. Chamrousse is the biggest freeride in the world with over 400 riders skating 9.5km of closed alpine road. Pure insanity. It has to be seen to be believed....
Rollin' - The first Sector Nine Video from the early 90's. A rare must see classic featuring bowls, banks, street and surf also with odd bits of original 70's footage and a period soundtrack.
Finishing up at around 10.30pm
For added spice the India pub now apparently comes with 'poles'. Let's hope they haven't double booked...!
Thanks,
Hope to see you down there...

Cool! Boneless, you need to stick all the chamrousse, bukolic, white air 05 stuff on a new DVD. Repeat after me everyone: New DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD...etc... if we say it enough it will happen!
Hope sunday night goes good! Curse the 200 miles between Stoke and Portsmouth!

A big thanks to everyone that came down to 'ROAD BUZZ' last night - Joel+Anna UKGSA, Pseudonym Magazine, Holden and the pompey Skate army, Graham, Gary Lee and all the Southsea locals, Duncan and his Warwash crew, Dave and Layla, The Aspex Gallery, Carl, and all the other folks I didn't get a chance to speak to or have forgotten to mention. It was great to see so many out on a Sunday night - hope y'all enjoyed it. Here's to a great year of skating ahead in 2006...
Thanks also to Lush Longboards, Faltown Skateboards and Sector 9 for letting us show their films and Brett (the Landlord) for letting us use his pub. Shame the poles didn't see any action.
Also apolgies to Holden for forgettin to put his film in... probably something to do with all the beer I was drinking - one to look forward at the next one...Traws?

BOS Wish I could have been there for that, as you may have gathered now I'm a major fan of the Saft and Boneless film company. Who here votes for a DVD of all the 2005 Saft and Boneless films? As per BOS's instructions above: "New DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD, new DVD! Hia
Soz this is a bit late, but FANTASTIC evening, Anna and I had a great time.
The videos were superb! White Air was a real treat, great filming, great editing, very entertaining! Chamrousse was really good, even in it's unfinished form, can't wait to see the final cut. Your vids are getting more and more professional, the sort of thing that you can watch over and over wheather you were there or not.
I handed out a load of flyers fro Traws there, so hopefully that should generate some interest.
See you at Traws
Joel
