I am deffo gonna be there , +Mrs Muzzo. That's great news! By the way, I have to say I was well impressed that Mrs Muzzo was standing out in the cold at Dalby doing the walkie-talkie thang at the finish line without the slightest hint of complaint or resentment. Wish my bird would participate like that, but at Gravity Sports events she's usually very busy sitting absolutely motionless in the passenger seat of my car!

i'm picking up tips for the one day where I pluck up enough courage to whoop your asses!!! Hee heee! Oh pleeeeeeeeeeease come and whoop our asses! Not just to gratify any masochists who might be lurking amongst our ranks, but because it would be SOOOO good to see more women in the sport! (Have a go on my Turtle in Wales if you like - it has a brake, so it's not as scary as Luge/Standup. There was a girl riding one in Chamrousse.)

Jeeezzzus Jason, I don't think I'll ever get used to that thing being called a bloody "Turtle".
Saying "Have a go on my Turtle" to a nice girl like Mrs Muzzo, is the kind of thing that only Graham Norton could get away with!
Gotta re-name it asap, preferably calling it somethig that does not sound like, um, er, .....a reptilian colon blockage.

I think it's great that it's called a "Street Turtle"!
"Come and ride my Turtle Mrs!"
"I rode the Turtle at the weekend"
It gives us an easy cue for all sorts of bestiality jokes. Then of course, if you sit closer to the front of the deck, that opens up all the "Turtle's Head" possibilities too. Finbarr Saunders would have a field day.
Good choice and clever marketing by those French chappies, methinks.

Well, I couldn't resist the opportunity to reply to your most generous offer. Funnily enough Jay (sorry Muzzo) suggested I have a go on your turtle, not something your hubby says often! If I the right attire and also weather permitting of course, (I share Muzzo's view on wet weather!!) I might have a go.

WAHEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Delighted to hear it! Two members of UKGSA both named Jason have made the same suggestion, so it MUST be a good idea!
Full leathers would be preferable, but with the Turtles being inherently safer than skateboards or luges, arguably not essential. The French Turtle riders didn't bother, they just wore fabric go kart-style outfits.
It has proper steering and a brake and is slower than a luge. Great entry into Gravity Sports, I reckon.

I agree with Jason (A). As this is a Freeride leathers are not esential. For the turtle I would recommentd some hard waring trousers and a jacket with full face helmet and gloves.

By the way, Len phoned to bag a bed in the cabin I've booked, so that's four left. Nice to know he's definitely going.

Anyone going to add me to the comfirmed riders list?
Unfortunately I'm away with work the week before, so I'll have to travel up on Saturday and guess will only be riding Sunday

Hia Graeme
You are confirmed, it is just hard to update the current website so a list of signed up riders does not appear on it.

Hia
No problem with paypal that I know of, Andy signed up via it the other day. For some reason some of the paypal links have dissapeared. I am in the process of fixing them, along with some dates and spelling mistakes, at the moment.

Right, Will just phoned to bag the double bed for him and his bird, so that's two beds left. What's left is either the double sofa bed or two singles, depending how we play it. Remember if we fill all eight, two of you will have to share the double sofa bed.
Of course, that could always be two blokes in a sleeping bag each, so it looks a little less gay...
